A roof-top vegetable garden appears in Heze, east China's Shandong Province. The garden owner is a mentally retarded man. He has planted a variety of vegetables in abandoned closestools on the building roof. The man has also built a shed to raise ducks. There is even a simple toile in the corner.

It is said that the garden owner often takes toilet dirt as fertilizer for the vegetables, and the smell has caught complaints from residents. A man who claimed himself the garden owner's brother said he is willing to clean up the debris on the roof.
