Kingsoft to Unveil 3 Versions of Its Translation Software

Kingsoft Corporation, one of China's recognized software developer of lexicography, recently unveiled Chinese, Japanese and English versions of its new translation software product Kingsoft.net2001, which provides totally eight interchangeable methods in dictionary translation, Lei Jun, general manager of the Corporation announced at a news conference.

The three versions, enlarged and updated, have 3 million new dictionary items. With them, translation of words and phrases between Japanese, Chinese and English languages becomes easier and more convenient.

"Our software products have received favorable appraisals from international users since our products entered the international market two years ago. Besides, launching of the new products is to further explore the great potential and strengthen our competitive presence in the international software market," Lei said.

Kingsoft Corporation, headquartered in southern China's Zhuhai city, was founded in 1998, has been devoted to the development of lexicography-related bilingual translation softwares. Its products include the well-known WPS (word processing system) family for both home and office applications, and computer translation softwares. (Source: chinadaily.com.cn)
