Concert Held to Mark Conservatory's Anniversary
Li Peng, chairman of the National People's Congress (NPC) Standing Committee,Sunday attended a concert marking the 50th founding anniversary of China's Central Conservatory of Music.

After observing the concert, Li said that the performance was remarkable, adding that the conservatory, which now boasts more than ten departments and research centers, has made great contributions to the country's music undertaking over the past 50 years.

Senior Chinese leaders, including NPC Standing Committee Vice-Chairmen Jiang Chunyun, Wang Guangying and Buhe, attended the concert.
