A woman in Wuhan, Hubei province, found out that her driving license had accumulated 795 penalty points in four months while she was away from the city, the Wuhan Evening News reported on Tuesday.
The woman, who is surnamed Tong, found on Nov 23 that her driving license was invalidated because she had 795 penalty points from 328 offenses registered from September to December 2011.
Tong studied in the United States from February 2006 to October 2011. During that time, she neither drove in the city nor lent her license to others.
Tong suspects that her driving license information might have been stolen and used by others illegally.
Police are investigating the case.
