Former PM's son kidnapped during election campaign in E. Pakistan

ISLAMABAD, May 9 (Xinhua) -- Son of former Pakistani Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani got kidnapped during an election campaign in the county's central Multan city on Thursday afternoon, confirmed family sources.

According to family sources and local media reports, Ali Haider Gilani was kidnapped and taken away to unknown location by unidentified gunmen while addressing a Pakistan Peoples Party political rally for the coming general elections in the afore-said city.
