KABUL, Feb. 21 (Xinhua) -- Units of police have killed 24 Taliban militants across the conflict-ridden Afghanistan over the past 24 hours, Interior Ministry said in a statement released here on Thursday.
According to the statement, nine militants have been injured and 19 others made captive during a series of operations.
However, it did not say if there were any casualties on police. Taliban militants are yet to make comment.
