US should take the responsibility to check cyber war

According to the New York Times, the president of the United States will have the right to expand its network security forces if someone launched serious network attacks. Washington Post also reported that U.S. department of defense plans to expand its cyber command force by five-fold for several years. All indications prove that the United States is taking the dangerous pace in the direction of the implementation of cyber war.

With the development of information technology, human life and survival mode are undergoing profound changes, and the influence of the network has spread to every aspect of life.

However, as network is playing a more and more important role in the global society life, the vulnerability of information network is also increasingly prominent, and illegal crime of network is increasingly rampant, which caused severely damages to social stability and economic development.

While the United States opening its cyber war plan in half-disguisedly way, some U.S. media also start to hype "Chinese cyber threat" for the presumptuous way, just to find the excuse to justify its cyber war.

In the face of all kinds of risks in the cyber space, strengthening international cooperation and seeking common security is the right way. The United States is the leader in the field of information technology, which controls the most global internet resources and key infrastructures, and takes the primary responsibility to maintain the peace and security for network space. So it should clearly understands that leading to develop cyber war ability and looking for absolute military advantages will take unpredictable catastrophic consequences to the human society.

International community looks forward to constructing a safe, peaceful, open and cooperative network space. Although the U.S. is a network power, high informatization of the American society also makes it face greater risk. For the future of itself and mankind, the U.S. should think twice before taking the action.
