NEW YORK, Jan. 22 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake measuring 5.2 on the Richter scale jolted Hindu Kush region, Afghanistan at 15:09: 22 GMT on Tuesday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 51.60 km, was initially determined to be at 36.3227 degrees north latitude and 68.8486 degrees east longitude.
