Qiu is hopeful to take part in the Barcelona Worlds this July.
The 20-year-old boy Ning Zetao, from Chinese Navy, won the 50m and 100m freestyle. His 100m free time reached the A standard of the World Championships and broke the national record.
The men's 200m breaststroke winner was also very young as the event was claimed by 20-year-old Zhejiang swimmer Mao Feilian. Mao just changed his major from medley to breaststroke in January and he managed to set a new national record 2:11.16 of the event.
Beijing Olympic runner-up and Rome Worlds champion Zhang Lin was still in low form as he failed to qualify a semifinal at the National Championships.
