Changes begin bit by bit

The changes of the meeting style are reflected in the details. "In the past, everyone will receive a cloth or plastic file pocket, holding stationeries including a notebook, a red and a blue pencil in it, but this year, it is a paper bag, just containing a pen and a notebook," a staff member said.

The staff member added that the number of representatives of his department who participated in the conference did not reduced but that of people making a speech was decreased a lot. In the past, 25 representatives would make a speech but the number reduced by about one-third in 2012.

Provincial Party Secretary of Gansu Wang Sanyun said that the meeting style is very important, which embodies the working style of the Party and will infect the entire social atmosphere.
