A staff member said that the catering company's cooks finish making the lunch at around 9:30 a.m. every day. After distribution and packaging, the lunch is moved to special sterilization trucks and reaches the school at around 11 a.m. when students just start their last class in the morning. Nearly 30 boxes of lunches for more than 600 students are then placed at the front and back doors of each classroom, so students can eat hot meals immediately after class. This catering company provides healthy lunches to nearly 5,000 students at five nearby schools, including Liangjiadian Primary School. A teacher surnamed Gao who is in charge of the lunch affairs said that almost all of students at the primary school have subscribed to the healthy lunch, which is priced at 9 yuan and contains different amounts of food according to the students' age. "It is very popular among students. They provide steamed buns every Thursday, and some students can even devour 14 buns," Gao said.
