China executes 11 criminals of northern Myanmar telecom fraud groups

HANGZHOU, Jan. 29 (Xinhua) -- China on Thursday executed 11 criminals from gangs based in northern Myanmar, including key members of telecom fraud groups.
The 11 were sentenced to death in September 2025.
The executions were carried out by a court in Wenzhou city in east China's Zhejiang Province, after receiving the approval of the Supreme People's Court.
