“Go Wuhan! Go China!” Montenegro university students and professors offer support in video message

Students and professors from the University of Donja Gorica (UDG), Montenegro, recently made a video to send their well-wishes to China in its battle against the novel coronavirus pneumonia (COVID-2019).

Dr. Marija Orlandic, Dean of China Studies, said in the video that she obtained her Ph.D from the Southwestern University of Finance and Economics in China. “I have many Chinese friends, and my heart is always with you,” Marija said.

Ana Djikanovic, a student at UDG, said that she had lived in China for one year, and it had become her second home. She sent her best wishes to her Chinese friends and all Chinese people.

“Go, Wuhan! Go, China!” They expressed their support for China, hoping that China would effectively get through the coronavirus crisis.

Established in 2007, UDG is currently the largest privately owned facility in Montenegro. In recent years, it has cooperated with many universities and companies in China. In 2019, UDG introduced a Chinese studies course for undergraduate students.
