With the most attention and highest satisfaction, Huawei, ByteDance, Alibaba and Tencent topped other Internet enterprises among young employees born between 1995 and 2000, according to a recent survey report from the employment-oriented social networking platform Dajie.com.

The report indicated that programming, operations and product management were the most popular jobs among respondents. Forty-six percent of those surveyed expected to work as a developer.

The survey results reveal that 78 percent of respondents hold the view that development prospects remain a key factor when choosing an ideal company. On top of that, 70 percent agreed that products embodied a company’s strength, showing a preference for companies that have influential products.

Regarding the keyword search frequency, ByteDance, a domestic internet technology giant which was founded in the early 2010s, has topped old brands such as Alibaba and Tencent.

Owing to the success of a series of entertainment apps such as Toutiao, TikTok and Xigua Video, ByteDance is attracting more young consumers and employees. ByteDance is taking the lead in development prospects, cooperate culture and team climate, together with Huawei, Alibaba and Tencent.

Dajie.com noted that employees of 24 and under enjoyed more opportunities in ByteDance than their peers, making it the most satisfactory company to work for among those listed.
