Ilyas & Mustafa Galadari Group (IMG), a Dubai-based operator of the world's largest indoor theme park IMG Worlds of Adventure, said it will build a theme park in east China’s Zhejiang province within this year.
With a total investment of 50 billion yuan, the indoor theme park will be constructed from three parts, a world of adventure, a water park as well as a mythology carnival land.
The park will be constructed and operated by a Chinese tourism and culture development company based in Hangzhou.
The cooperation is expected to help realize mutual development between China and the United Arab Emirates. The theme park is an acknowledgement from the UAE of China’s economic growth and market vitality, according to the CEO and the Chinese representative of IMG, who both emphasized their confidence about the high-end theme park market in China.
