From 5G to smart garbage bins, a series of "cool tech" will be used to offer a smart and intelligent experience, at the first China International Import Expo, which will be open on Nov 5.
Intelligent urban infrastructure, including over 10 thousand logistic terminal sensors, have already been put into use at Shanghai’s National Convention and Exhibition Center, the major venue of the Expo.
The Center will also have a functional 5G network, with the world’s largest 5G small cellular base station and more than 20 established base stations.
More amazing, the Wi-Fi service at the Expo can handle over 100 thousand users on the 600 MHz network simultaneously and can deliver a faster, smarter, and higher-quality network by adjusting to user traffic.
And to help keep things clean and tidy, garbage bins in the venues and on the surrounding roads are equipped with smoke detectors and temperature detectors. And when full, they can automatically alert sanitation workers, greatly boosting efficiency.
