
The Chinese battle tank team defeated teams from Uganda, Kazakhstan and Kuwait by hitting all targets in 21 minutes during the opener of the Tank Biathlon contest, a key competition held at the 2018 International Army Games in Moscow’s Patriot Park, Russia, on July 28, 2018.
Over 5,000 soldiers from 33 countries will participate in the 28 contests held during the tournament, which runs until August 11. Li Bin, captain of the Chinese team, said this year’s events are more realistic to real life battle and are more challenging than previous years.
