People would never have associated the landmark buildings in Chongqing with potatoes, peppers or biscuits until a group of young Chinese made it come true.

Hongyadong, Liziba, Yangtze River Cableway, Chongqing Grand Theater, East Gate Bridge and Liberation Monument are known as the landmarks of Chongqing, a mountainous city in southwest China.

Over the course of one and a half months, seven young people created pictures of the six beautiful landmark buildings with 9,800 kinds of food materials such as noodles, biscuits, meat and vegetables, Chinanews.com reported on May 8.

It’s been reported that the seven artists are all locals working in the fields of advertisement and food photography. They chose this special, if not a little romantic, way to represent Chongqing as well as show their love for their hometown.
