Wheelchair-friendly buses officially launched in southwestern China’s Chongqing municipality on Jan. 10. The barrier-free service is no doubt a piece of good news for people with mobile impairments.

Thirty-one buses are equipped with a wheelchair lift, making the buses accessible to the physically disabled.

In addition, each bus has six USB ports, turning the vehicles into mobile charging stations.
