Photos taken show cartoon figures painted on manhole covers at Chengdu University of Information Technology in Chengdu, southwest China’s Sichuan Province, Chengdu Evening News reported on Dec. 14.
The figures were painted by volunteers from the city’s 11 universities as part of a campus beautification project.
