Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev on Tuesday wished readers of People’s Daily Online good luck, calling for better bilateral relations between the two nations and their people.

“Many thanks to Chinese netizens who keep a watchful eye on the development of Sino-Russian relations. [We] hope to gain your continuous attention and wish you good luck!” said Medvedev at the end of a live webcast held by People’s Daily Online, where he fielded questions from Chinese netizens.

As of Tuesday, Chinese netizens raised over 92,00 questions, covering a wide range of topics, including Sino-Russian relations, the two nations’ future cooperation plans, and the prime minister’s personal life and interests.

Starting from Tuesday, Medvedev’s visit to China will last two days. During his visit, the prime minister will hold talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Keqiang.
