“The impressive successes of the People’s Republic of China (PRC) in all spheres of life; specifically, the growth of the country’s international prestige, was first and foremost achieved through the political leadership of the Communist Party of China (CPC). We consider the report delivered by Chinese President Xi Jinping to the 19th CPC National Congress as an invitation to joint development,” says Parviz Davlatzoda, Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to China, in a commentary on Oct. 19.

The ambassador said Tajikistan and China are good neighbors and trustworthy partners with centuries of common history and a shared future. He said his country fully supports the statement of President Xi that “the dream of the Chinese people is closely connected with the dreams of other peoples of the world.”

“In the Chinese dream, we find elements of our own goals and the paths to prosperity,” Ambassador Davlatzoda said. “In the peaceful rise and the strengthening of China’s economic power, we see the prospects for Tajikistan’s socio-economic recovery.”

“Indeed, Tajikistan and China have a common destiny and common goals,” he said, adding that for the happiness and prosperity of our peoples, we shall accomplish these together, hand in hand and shoulder to shoulder.

The 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) opened on Wednesday in Beijing. President Xi, who is also General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, delivered a report to the Congress.
