YotaPhone 3, which Russia reportedly gave to 20 officials attending the just-concluded BRICS Xiamen Summit, will officially enter the Chinese market this month.
The phone is developed and manufactured by Yota Devices, a China-Russia joint venture. In November 2014, Russian President Vladimir Putin presented a dual-screen YotaPhone 2 smartphone to Chinese President Xi Jinping as a state gift.
Six months later, the company introduced the device into the Chinese market by cooperating with local distribution channels.
Different versions of the YotaPhone 3 will sell for 3,000 to 6,000 yuan on China’s e-commerce giant JD.com, a Yota staff said.
