Dudu Town is situated at an average altitude of about 1,270 meters, with an annual average temperature of 23 degrees Celsius. The region’s typical karst landscape includes stone buds, small stone forests, sinkholes, and underground rivers and lakes. Shijiaqian Cenote is one of seven erosional caves in the world.

At the bottom of the cenote lies a long karst cave known as the Yulong Cave. The cave is 20 meters high and 36 meters wide, and many ancient Buddha statutes are standing inside it. A large number of remains of flying foxes and giant pandas remains were found in the cenote.
