Extremely hot weather has been lingering in Hangzhou for several days now. An experiment showed that the surface of a bicycle seat in the scorching sun can reach 60 degrees Celsius.
A 23-year-old man riding a shared bicycle had no idea how hot his seat was until he felt a burning pain on his rear end about 10 minutes later. The poor man went to see a doctor and it turned out that his caboose got burnt. The medical expense cost him 93 yuan.

The man used Alipay to unlock the bikes, and Alipay promises insurance for its riders. Therefore, he believes that the company should cover the cost since his tail end was accidently burnt during his ride.
It is reported that the surface temperature of many outdoor facilities, such as stone chairs, children’s plastic slides, and external air conditioner units can reach 60 or even 70 degrees Celsius during summer.
