On May 19, Shanghai Disneyland announced that its resort has welcomed 10 million guests since its opening. The resort also announced that it will kick-off a month-long anniversary celebration, and an anniversary festival is scheduled for June 16.
"We feel thrilled to have welcomed over 10 million visitors," said Philippe Gas, general manager of Shanghai Disney Resort. The resort said it is confident about continuously growing demand for tourist sites and entertainment in Shanghai Disneyland, given the increasing popularity of the resort and high level of customer satisfaction.
Since the resort's opening, Shanghai Disneyland has been providing a special experience to both Chinese and foreign guests, complete with distinctive stories, world-class sites and entertainment, and Disney's unique services. In order to celebrate its anniversary, Shanghai Disneyland will also launch a line of brand new merchandise.
