

A former employee of the Laoganma, a popular Chinese chili sauce producer, has been arrested on suspicion of leaking the company's trade secret, China News Service reported Monday.
The company Laoganma reported a crime to police in Guiyang, Guizhou Province in Dec. 2016. After a three-month investigation, a man surnamed Jia, formerly an employee of Laoganma, was arrested for leaking trade secrets. Jia worked for another local sauce supplier under a pseudonym, and had documents detailing core production techniques stored on his computer.
