Police officers and soldiers of the Heilongjiang police force spelled out the word “LOVE” with their bodies to express the sentiment to their spouses and girlfriends on Feb. 13, China News reported.
With the approach of Valentine’s Day, the soldiers also wrote love letters to their significant others, as they are not able to spend as much time together as other couples do.
“I pledge that I will work hard and marry her as soon as possible,” said Wang Dianjun, who has been with his girlfriend for three years. During their relationship, the two have only been able to meet in person once per year, so Wang hoped to convey his love on the special occasion of Valentine's Day.
