Executives of two Chinese companies included on the U.S. sanctions list against Iran said they had only exported normal goods to the country and did nothing wrong.
According to a Reuters report dated Feb. 5, two Chinese companies and three Chinese nationals are on the list.
Richard Yue, who is on the list, told Reuters the decision is unfair. “I export goods to many countries, including Iran. This is completely normal.” The website for Cosailing Business Trading Co. Ltd shows that the company trades in everything from furnaces to treadmills and fake eyelashes.
The other Chinese company on the list is New Century Import and Export Co., which is based in eastern China's city of Ningbo. The company website advertises fire hydrants and motorcycle tires. An executive surnamed Tang told Reuters their exports to Iran are normal business.
