Grilled crocodile meat at a temple fair during the Spring Festival in Binzhou, Shandong province, on Tuesday grabbed people's attention.

It was learnt that the crocodiles were imported from Thailand and the daily revenue of the vendor could reach 10,000 yuan (about $1,455).

Despite the strong interest, however, the people who had tried the meat said it was not tasty.
