
Fidel Castro’s funeral ceremony has brought together leaders from around the world as well as in the capital, Havana.

Leaders from Venezuela, Ecuador, Bolivia, Mexico and South Africa, as well as from Central American nations all came together on Tuesday to pay tribute and respect to Cuba’s late revolutionary leader in the capital’s Revolution Square.


President Raul Castro, Castro’s younger brother and successor, thanked world leaders for their words of praise for his late brother, during his speech at the funeral. Fidel Castro passed away at the age of 90 on November 25.
