Recently the People's Government of Shaanxi Province and the Xi'an Municipal People's Government have presented 2015 Shaanxi Provincial Science & Technology Awards and 2015 Xi'an Municipal Science & Technology Awards respectively.

The project of "Hydraulic Spring Operating Mechanism Series for High Voltage Switchgears" declared by Xikai Electric, an enterprise in Xi'an Hi-tech Industries Development Zone (XDZ) won the Second Prize of Shaanxi Provincial Science & Technology Award; its project of "Development and Engineering Application of Complete Large Capacity Breaker Protection Devices for Large Generating Units" and project of "ZF7D-126(L)/T4000-5 Gas Insulated Metal Enclosed Switchgear" won the First and Third Prize of Xi'an Municipal Science & Technology Awards respectively.
