On November 18, Xi'an Hi-tech Industries Development Zone (XDZ) held a work meeting on environmental pollution control and supervision.

The meeting reported on the environmental protection supervision conducted by the central government, as well as the special proposal of the Xi'an Urban and Rural Construction Commission on the dust treatment of construction sites and two types of enterprises. The meeting required that departments at all levels, parks, as well as enterprises and institutions in the zone should comprehensively analyze the possible problems in the environmental pollution control of XDZ, and make correction to meet the requirements of the central, provincial and municipal governments for environmental protection supervision.
