A number of Chinese films and television programs debuted at this year's MIP Cancun film and television festival, which was held from Nov. 16 to 18. The China United Exhibition, organized by the Information Office of the State Council and the State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television of China, included a "Focus China" seminar as well as other exchange and promotion activities.

More than 10 Chinese companies and media organizations took part in the exhibition, showcasing excellent film and television from around the country, including documentaries, animation and variety shows. The participants also conducted in-depth communications with their Latin American counterparts, probing opportunities for future cooperation.

The documentary series "Atlas: China Revealed" was promoted at the exhibition as well. Launched by the China International Communication Center and National Geographic Channel, the documentary series is currently available in 170 countries and has attracted over 300 million viewers.

The China United Exhibition has been successfully mounted at over 40 international film and television festivals since 2004. This year's MIP Cancun, one of the most influential film and television festivals in Latin America, attracted over 140 institutions from 22 countries.
