On Nov. 15, a trailer overturned on a road in southern Fujian province, nearly smashing another driver's car, which was parked on the side of the road.

The driver, surnamed Song, said that he quickly shifted to the car's vacant passenger seat as the trailer was crashing down, which likely saved his life. The car was pushed 30 to 40 meters to the middle of the road and partially squashed by the trailer.

The trailer, which was coming from the opposite direction, was forced to brake hard as another car drove across the street, the trailer's driver explained.

Fortunately, both drivers sustained only minor injuries. Local traffic police are investigating the accident.
