Recently I made a visit of Beijing ,the capitol city of China to meet my beloved daughter Ms. Prakriti Sharma, currently a PhD student on micro biology at UCAS, Beijing and my son-in-law Dr. Lekhendra Tripathee (PhD), currently working at State key laboratory of Cryosphere Science, Northwest institute of Eco-environment and resources, Chinese academy of Sciences, Lanzhou, China. It was my great dream to visit China and Beijing since my childhood. I am a very ordinary Nepali citizen, and I do respect China too, as our close neighbor country. In our Nepali culture we do respect, trust and love to neighborhood whoever may be, because neighboring is a friend of in-need and that is the true friend in-deed. 

I love and respect China and there is a reason behind of this. During my childhood days, we used to gather around our grandfather and listen to him talking with his semi old friends on different new topics. In those days, Mao Zedong was the leader of China and King Mahendra was the leader of Nepal. I still remember his voice saying "China is a true, honest and really good neighboring friend of Nepal. China is supporting Nepal for its development through various project .The friendly relation between Nepal and China is very close and sincere". When I grew up and became school student, I could able to understand about China as it was a great nation of the world with a big geography and population. My reverence was raised into my heart towards China with a words of my grandfather "China is real and true friend of Nepal". However, my grandfather was not a communist nor was the follower of any political party but was a follower of truth and humanity and was an ordinary farmer of a village. And right now I do pay my respect to my grandpa for his absolutely true words. Yes, Nepal always feels proud of China as a really good neighboring friend.

Some years back, while I was travelling to the United States, one of my friend took me to Chinese Panda House for a dinner. Panda House is one of the most popular food stuff having many branches all over USA. I visited different market places of Chicago to Houston. I wondered to see the Chinese product item everywhere in the market. I found some vegetable mall filled up by Chinese’s stuff. Later on I knew that China has become the major manufacturer and supplier country not only for USA but also to the whole world. Congratulation China and the people of China! You made China an escalated and extraordinary nation in the world. I salute you for your hardworking and dedication to the Nation. You have given a great lesson to the whole world that working Buddha is in China and spiritual Buddha is in Nepal. No doubt, Buddha was the true communist who dedicated his whole life for the mankind. I am so admired by looking at the white Stupa – Miaoying Temple, at Beijing made by Nepali artist Araniko, a legendry name in the history.

However, Chinese language is much difficult to understand and communicate, but I believe love is the easiest and simple language to communicate with each other. Love is known everywhere, which has not any boundary and barrier. Buddha's own language is also the language of love. By this way, though, Nepal and China has its different formal and verbal languages but has mutual love of heart and the respect is same.

We stayed one month long in Beijing and visited various places including Tianjin. I had a nice meeting with some Chinese friends in Beijing with whom we shared a lot of love and best wishes in our own language of heart. They could not understand Nepali, like wise me and my wife also could not understand Chinese language. But we could understand and speak the language of love and respect. We enjoyed a lot.

Forbidden City, Great Wall, Temple of Heaven, Tiananmen Square, Yonghe Lama Temple, Ming Tombs, Beihai Park, Summer Palace, Olympic Forest Park, White Pagoda are such unique and fascinating property of Beijing that always attract to anyone whomsoever visit Beijing. Apart from this, the above heritage is the fundamental property of China. I wondered to see the development of China. What is not in China? What has not been made by China? 15 line subway system and service is another attraction of Beijing. People of china are fully satisfied with their political system and the Government of China. I did not see any frustrated face in china during my stay over there. All were happy and busy.

It is a matter of great triumph that China has stood as a pioneer leader for South Asian country. The large investment has been made by China to India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Bhutan and Nepal through various projects. Among the SAARC State, Pakistan and India are getting more and more financial and industrial support from China. In this context, Pakistan and Pakistani media are always appreciating China while Indian media feel some hesitation to praise Chinese support. However, there is nothing to hide about China how it is providing its best support to South Asian Countries for their development as a part of major investor of Asia. China always deals equally on the basis of mutual benefit, mutual understanding and mutual trust. This is a matter of satisfaction that all SAARC state regards and trust to China and they have an expectation that China must be a member state of SAARC. SAARC was born with a great hope and spirit to build up a strong and trustable relation among the member states but for the time being it could not have gone up because of Indo Pak egoistic relation. There is always a threat of war between the two countries. India always interferes and dominates its neighboring countries with a principle of win and loss instead of win and win. While Pakistan is good for other SAARC state but always challenge to India. Therefore, it is believed that if China would be there, certainly a balance relation would be developed among the SAARC State with a new hope and spirits. For this purpose, Nepal had purposed for first time that China must be invited for the SAARC Summit and be requested for its active membership in to the SAARC, some nine years ago, but India played an unhealthy and negative role to prevent China getting into the SAARC. Due to such behavior, SAARC has been missing a good friend like China. When the SAARC meeting are to be held, only India and Pakistan are placed in focal point and rests of the member states become lightless, voiceless and valueless. Therefore, it is believed that if China would be there as an active member of SAARC, surely there would be the constructive work in whole Asia through the platform of SAARC.

Nepal and China has age old ties and friendly relations, but since Nepal entered into Federal Republic state, Nepal is losing everything in everywhere. Nepal’s so called leaders who lightered the fire of revolution in the name of Mao, now is clearly displayed that they are monitored by India and are puppet of EU and western. Now Nepal is seeking the political reform as Kingdom of Nepal. Nepalese people are now seeking the leadership of King Gyanendra Shah who had given up his royal throne in 2007. Nepalese people have realized that Nepal cannot survive nor be able to unite without the leadership of royal monarch. Nepal is geographically very small but at the present time there are more than 30 political party and out of them major parties are influences by India. Thus Nepal is seeking the new future for its stability. Decades back Nepal was regarded or declared as a state of Zone of Peace. China and Pakistan immediately gave their valuable support. Later on, more than 116 nations from all over the world gave their valuable support to Nepal, but India always neglected it. And now Nepalese people are realizing that India's intense towards Nepal was never fare. But in the case of China, it is always fair and positive to Nepal. However, Nepal's progress depends on the desire of Nepalese people but it is true to the fact that neighboring countries could play theirs vital role in its development. In my view, it is necessary to talk openly to India by China about Nepal, what India want from Nepal and to what extent? Why India doesn’t like the stability and progress of Nepal? Due to such Indian courses, Nepal and Nepali people are always suffering. Nepal is a peaceful country and its ambition is only peaceful living and development. It will never make any nuclear weapon nor go for quarrelling to others.

Nepal is a poor country in South Asia and wants to rise again with the Leadership of royal monarch. In 30 years of period, Nepal exercised multi-party system Democracy and Democratic Federal Republic system, but found that all these were only a futile exercise and was copied from India under the Indian Pressure. China, being a close and sincere friend of Nepal, must look into the ongoing situation of Nepal and support to bring back the royal throne of Nepal.

Well, I have returned back to Nepal just week before having your kind love and affection during my stay at Beijing. I am highly admired of your development, one party political system, friendly, cooperative and honest Chinese people with high excellence behavior and your historical places, palace and monuments. Now I am thinking that if China and Nepal go together with a super bond relation, definitely both the country can do much better for the new world. Nepal is rich in water and many other natural resources including minerals and mines. The beauty of nature and the mountains of Himalayan are the pioneer feature of Nepal. Nepalese people always trust China and Chinese people because China is also a peace loving nation.

Outside of China, generally it is said that being a communist country China has no freedom of life but my own experience says China has more freedom of life and has enough human right even more then in USA or Europe. In USA or in Europe, people are bound by laws and regulations but in China people are bound by own self rather than by theirs law because the Chinese people are more disciplined, responsible, more dedicated to their work and nation. One individual Chinese represent the whole china by its own behavior, ability and attitude. May long live Nepal China relations.
