Another visible light camera has sent back its first batch of high-definition photos of Tiangong-2. These photos show a clear image of the joined Tiangong-2 space lab and Shenzhou-11 spacecraft. The satellite is scheduled to carry out another photo-taking mission on the other side of the two structures at the end of the month.
The companion satellite is named Banxing-2, and it has flown with the space lab for about 40 days. According to a senior designer of the application system for manned space engineering, the HD images allow scientists on Earth see the equipment clearly, and proves that the cameras are functioning well and can serve in future missions.
