An 89-year-old man named Yu Xiao in Harbin, Heilongjiang province has been practicing rollerskating for 15 years. Every day, Yu skates 20 laps around his residential community. Although Yu sustained some injuries when he first started practicing, he is now able to perform a variety of moves, including some challenging ones that are usually only performed by very experienced skaters.

Yu, a retired teacher, was transferred to Harbin in 1958 after his demobilization from the army. He became interested in rollerskating 15 years ago when he saw somebody skating around a public square.
