This aerial view shows a hanging garden in Hongkou Experimental School in Shanghai. In 2015, the government includes vertical greening in the practical projects for the first time and more than 400,000 square meter of vertical planting are added, including 200,000 square meter roof greening, 10,000 green posts, 10,000 green walls and green balconies. In high-temperature period, green roofs can lower the temperature of outer surface of the building by 24.6 degrees Celsius. (Photo / CCTV)
