"One Country Two Systems" Implemented Well in HK: British Chief Judge

Lord Fraser, chief judge of England and Wales who has visited Hong Kong for many times, Tuesday spoke highly of implementation of "One Country, Two systems" as a significant experiment in Hong Kong. Things on the whole have all been going well in Hong Kong, he said.

During his visit attending the seminar "Way to Just Legal System: Prospect of Law" sponsored by UK Cultural Association in Hong Kong, Fraser talked about his impression on Hong Kong and contacts with many HK judges and law circles that Hong Kong judiciary is capable enough to face any challenges.

Lord Fraser also highly evaluated the organization setup of the court of last instance of Hong Kong SAR, especially the courageous idea to inviting judges of other judicial precinct to act as special justice. He said that UK could make the most of the experience. He believes that Hong Kong will have a brighter future ahead.
