First WTO Information Center Opens in Hainan
The first information center set up by the World Trade Organization (WTO) in China opened to the public Thursday in China (Hainan) Institute for Reform and Development (CIRD).
According to Chi Fulin, vice president of CIRD, the WTO headquarters will provide varieties of information and materials about WTO member countries on a daily basis to enhance cooperation and exchanges between China and other countries.
On behalf of the WTO headquarters, chairman of the WTO Technology Department has sent a letter to CIRD, noticing it the opening up of the center. He believes that CIRD can make full use of the center to better serve governments at all levels and all kinds of enterprises.
