China, Brazil Jointly Issues Puppet Stamp

A ceremony was held today in Quanzhou, a coastal city of southeast China's Fujian Province, to mark the issue of a special stamp set on puppet and mask by China and Brazil.

The stamp set, which consists of two pieces, features the Monkey King in traditional Chinese myth stories and a mask used in Brazil's carnivals.

This is the third time for China to jointly issue stamps with a foreign country.

Quanzhou has long been famous for its long history and rich cultural heritage, especially for traditional puppet arts.
