Macao SAR Issues New Stamps for Contemporary Sculptures

The Postal Services of China's Macao Special Administrative Region (SAR) on Monday launched the issuing of a set of new stamps featuring contemporary sculptures in Macao.

The set consists of four stamps with face values of 1, 2, 3 and 4 patacas respectively. Eight patacas equal to one U.S. dollar.

A total of 750,000 sets of the stamps will be issued. And other postal products include a souvenir sheet, a first-day cover and an introduction paper.

All the sculptures depicted in the stamps were set up by the Portuguese Macao government in the decade before the handover of Macao in a bid to show Sino-Portuguese friendship.
