The Chinese mainland will stage a relics exhibition in Taiwan this month, government sources said Monday in Hohhot.
With approval of the State Cultural Relics Bureau, the Museum of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region will be the sponsor of the event.
Some 120 valuable pieces, including a 6,000-year-old pottery statue of a goddess and weapons and other items belonging to the empire of Genghis Khan, will be on display.
The six-month exhibition will open in Taipei and then move to the port city of Kaohsiung.
