Hu Jintao Urges to Implement Jiang Zemin's Instructions on Party Role
General Secretary Jiang Zemin's important instructions on leading role by the Communist Party of China (CPC) concerns the building of the Party as well as reform and opening-up drive.
All CPC members and leading Party officials, in particular, should seriously study, deeply understand and implement Jiang's instructions in the work of the Party.
The remarks were made by Hu Jintao, a member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Central Committee Political Bureau Wednesday at the closing ceremony of a training course of the Party School of the CPC Central Committee in Beijing. Provincial officials also attended the training course.
In his south China tour early this year, General Secretary Jiang Zemin said that the CPC represents advanced productivity, an advanced culture and the fundamental interests of the Chinese people.
Hu emphasized that History has shown that a Marxist party would make mistakes and encounter frustrations, if it deviates from the "Three Represents".
