The remarks were made by Hu Jintao, a member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Central Committee Political Bureau Wednesday at the closing ceremony of a training course of the Party School of the CPC Central Committee in Beijing. Provincial officials also attended the training course. In his south China tour early this year, General Secretary Jiang Zemin said that the CPC represents advanced productivity, an advanced culture and the fundamental interests of the Chinese people.
