There are several reasons why Chinese users love iOS 8, even though they have to try hard to delete photos, apps and videos just to have enough space on their iPhones to upgrade to it. There are several features of iOS 8 which resolve previous problems created by Chinese being such a pain. Those former disadvantages were mocked by Android users, but now things have changed, and the new features have impressed me.

1. The display of calling origin

After upgrading to iOS 8, you will find that the origin of calls from numbers not in your contacts list will appear on screen. Doesn't that brighten your day just a little bit? At least you can get some idea of where a strange call is coming from.

However, it seems that the location of a fixed line phone number can be located more precisely. The origin is not displayed for some mobile phone numbers - I don't know why.
