For various reasons, some differences do exist between China and India. For the problems left over by history, we need to have enough confidence in peaceful and friendly consultations through existing bilateral mechanisms, and to promote proper settlement of related issues as soon as possible. To achieve this goal, both sides have to be rational' they should properly control their differences, refrain from upgrading the issue, and not let the problems affect the overall situation of Sino-Indian relations. As to the issues such as trade imbalance and cross-border water resources, as long as the two sides have mutual understanding on the basis of mutual trust, take good care of each other's concerns and interests, they will be able to find a proper solution to the problem.
Media is to play a constructive role in the development of Sino-Indian relations. Media has great influence on the friendship of the two peoples. Media of the two countries needs to shoulder political responsibility and social responsibility, bear in mind the long-term interests of the two countries, and play a constructive role as well as actively enhance mutual trust. I do not want to see negative media interactions damage the friendly relations between the two countries, and hope that media can report the news in a calm and rational manner. As a matter of fact, China and India have been good neighbors for thousands of years. Chinese monks Fa Xian and Xuanzang introduced Buddhist culture into China, which has great influence on Chinese history and culture. This effect lasts until today, and can still be felt around us.
I believe that through the joint efforts of both sides, Sino-Indian relations will surely overcome difficulties and move forward. Premier Li Keqiang's visit to India is a significant and positive thing in the Sino-Indian relations, and will open a new chapter in Sino-Indian relations.
