Special envoy of Chinese govn't to attend inaugural ceremony of Ecuador president

BEIJING, May 17 (Xinhua) -- At the invitation of Ecuadoran government, Minister of Water Resources Chen Lei will attend the inauguration ceremony for Ecuadoran President Rafael Correa on May 24.

Chen will attend the event as the special envoy of the Chinese government, Foreign Ministry spokesman Hong Lei said at a daily press briefing on Friday.
