Senior CPC official meets Greek guests

BEIJING, April 26 (Xinhua) -- Liu Qibao, a senior official of the Communist Party of China (CPC), on Friday met with a delegation of Greece's New Democracy Party led by its general secretary Manolis Kefalogiannis.

Liu, a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and head of the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, said during the meeting that the CPC attaches great importance to developing relations with the New Democracy Party.

Liu said the CPC is willing to strengthen party-to-party exchanges and help enhance the two countries' ties.

Liu also briefed the delegation on the 18th National Congress of the CPC and the notion of the "Chinese dream."

Kefalogiannis said his party will further develop relations with the CPC under the principle of mutual respect and push forward relationship between the two countries.
